My dad was dealing with some mixed feelings so I told him “In therapy when something is too complicated to do a simple ‘pro and contra list’ we sometimes do an excercise where you imagine all these mixed feelings around a table in some kind of conference, letting each tell their bit and you leading the debate.”

and my dad didn’t really respond and just stared ahead so I kept preparing lunch. Until a few minutes later when he suddenly piped up: “I am having a bad time at the conference”

Yeah, you might be famous, but you’re not tumblr famous. Yeah, you won an Oscar but you’ll never be as beloved as Blorbo from my shows. We will never freak out about you answering our ask as we will freak out over our ship still not being canon. We care more about hot takes than follower counts here. We are so unmarketable, there is no good PR on our hellsite /aff.

I know that we here on tumblr have had our posts stolen and rewritten by many a twitter user, and that they speak of of tumblr as a hellsite (derogatory) when it is really a hellsite (affectionate)

But now that Elon owns twitter, we must welcome new and returning users with open arms.

Every twitter user converted is one step closer to Elon Musk pulling a yahoo and loosing 99% of Twitters value.
